My math questions and lessons don't display correctly. What should I do?

We use MathML and MathJax to render mathematical content onto our platform (IE - complex equations, fractions, formulas etc). If you cannot see this type of content on our platform please try the following:

  • Refresh the page to bypass the cache and possibly outdated files

  • Make sure that you're using a supported browser (Internet Explorer 9 and above, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox are all supported, though the platform generally work best on Chrome).

If you still cannot see the mathematical content, please clear your cache and remove the cookies in order to give you a fresh web browser experience OR try using a private browsing experience like Chrome Incognito.

Unfortunately some web browsers, such as Firefox, use native display which means that they do not render through MathJax. This results in a conflict and causes mathematical content to display incorrectly. One way to possibly work around this problem is to right click on the math element, click on “Math Settings,” and play around with the different options provided to generate a likable outcome.

If this doesn't solve the issue, feel free to report content errors in the course (there's a link under each lesson and question to do so) or contact [email protected].
